Les Galets 2023
Encépagement
In 2023, Les Galets is dominated by the Carignan 30%, 20% Of Grenache, 20% of Syrah, 20% of Counoise and 10% of Mourvedre.
Thoses grappes comes from the Garrigues, Carré, Canarde, and Truffière’s terroirs .
This vineyard is hot and dry, located on a flat exposed area.
Vignes et rendement
The average age of the vines is 30 years old with a yield of 30 to 35 hl/ha.
The Garrigues district, is a terroir of red clay and small pebbles,exudes rich concentration to the grapes.
Elevage
Maturing takes place in concrete tank for 8 months until bottling.
Natural vinification and lightly Sulfiting before botteling (1.5g/hl).
Stored in a temperate cellar until promoting the wine.
Dégustation
Dark red colour, shinny with ruby tinges.
Nose and palate are dominated by black fruits, olives and anis notes.
Gourmand and rich, the fruit is expressive and surounded by suppled tannins
This Côtes-du-Rhône is a fair view of the wine from south Rhône Valley.
We recommend to consume within 3 years.
